It's spring time!

Do you remember my post about the street band in Wola? It was taken on 23rd March and just few days later the spring bloomed. As you can see in the photo below, made quite late, on 7th April.

Continue reading to see some spring photos made in Praga district, near Vistula river on Saturday, 5th April. Spring came really early this year, the weather was warm and sunny so a lot of people went outside to enjoy the fresh air. As usual I tried not to take the people's photos, and concentrate on the nature tho.

Park Praski

Near the ZOO, just one bus/tram stop from the Old Town. Entrance to the park is of course free, and the park has no fence and working hours.

Vistula River

Vistula, called in Polish "Wisła", is the longest Polish river, over 1.000 km long.

The photos below are done by Śląsko-Dąbrowski Bridge, which connects the central district (the Old Town area) with Praga. You can get to the shore getting through the Park Praski.

Do you see the building with spire? It's Pałac Kultury i Nauki (Palace of Culture and Science), a symbol of Warsaw. I wrote about Palace of Culture and Science few times already, so you can get some basic info and see other photos.

On weekends you can see people fishing in Wisła. For sports only, I wouldn't recommend eating those fishes. Yes, those people in the photo are fishing.

You can see some swans there too, just please don't give them bread, as it's an unhealthy food for them.

The area near Śląsko-Dąbrowski Bridge is a good place for a walk, to enjoy beautiful nature and panorama of the city centre and Old Town. Have a walk there, if you have free time.
